Welcome, I’m Stephanie.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist I’m someone who helps others explore barriers and spark change.
With two decades of experience working in both behavioral and public health, I have had the opportunity to support a variety of populations, including individuals impacted by brain injury, trauma, grief and loss as well as the creative community. I often work with clients who are facing medical complexities and also provide counseling to clients struggling with low mood, anxiety, life transitions and substance dependence. I am a fit for individuals seeking tools to move toward emotional healing and bolstered inner strength.
Through work together, my clients can expect to examine their history, better understand their strengths, tap into their wisdom and move toward greater connection. Taking a holistic approach, we will work toward awareness and calming your nervous system, moving past behaviors that no longer serve you. Beyond my role as psychotherapist, I also bring my experience as a mother, friend, daughter, sister and partner to our most powerful tool- our therapeutic relationship.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, a Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and am licensed with the State of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (#50821). Rooted in a number of therapeutic frameworks, my practice is most importantly trauma-informed, integrative, relational and influenced by neurobiology. On-going education and training are essential elements of my practice.
